The must from a careful separation of the skins, ferments with its lees in new American barrels, to remain in them for a few weeks, achieving an adequate aging.
Bodegas Fernández de Piérola, was born in 1996, with the aim of producing quality wines endowed with a personality that distinguishes them from the marked standardization that permeates a large part of Rioja wines. With this double objective, we set up a small, family winery, starting from family vineyards located in Moreda (Rioja - Alavesa), an area with a long wine-growing tradition.
